Binnekill Tavern

Excellent food! I was so impressed with the gluten-free selection and the amazing cocktails. Our waitress Sandy was so sweet and she was happy to help us navigate the neighborhood since we are new to the area. The atmosphere was really cozy and it was not at all loud despite there being a bar on premises. The entire place was extremely classy and we will absolutely be back very soon! Thank you Sandy for making our first visit so pleasurable, and thanks to the cook for paying social attention to our food allergies.

It did take a minute for food, However it was worth the wait. I received the Catskill trout as an appetizer and a haddock for a meal. They were both excellent. One of the better places around here.

Traveling for work is always a pain and finding a great place to stop for food and a drink is even more…. I’m glad I came across this place, beautiful decor and atmosphere, the always smiling bartender was great, like a butterfly going from flower to flower she would go from table to table or person to person asking if anyone needing anything. The food was amazing and thanks to Miss Autumn so was the rest of my evening heading back home. Hope to be able to come by again in the future. The town is beautiful and the location of this establishment is great with a view of the river.

Best place to celebrate a great settlement in my favor, a very big one! I wanted to eat like 90k oysters, but it is closed!Still giving it 5 stars, in hopes that the new owners are better than the last ones.

We got to the Binnekill Tavern a little late on a Friday night (late up here is 8:15 pm) but the restaurant was pretty full and the waitstaff sat us down quickly and got us some drinks from the bar.We never felt rushed, Sandra was wonderful with the service and the food was very good. The kids said fries specifically were on point. Our kids both loved the house burger and my wife had a wonderful schnitzel while I enjoyed the chicken sandwich.It’s great to find a restaurant that you can comfortably go to each weekend for good food if need be. I can only imagine how nice this place is during the summer when we can eat outside. Also, this restaurant is built OVER a creek. So it’s very unique (or atleast I thought so)We will definitely be going back.

Ate here a few times, high end bar with both bar and restaurant seating and a deck outside. Craft beer selection and full on menu of staple dishes like steak as well as appetizers and desserts.Hostess was friendly and very accommodating and they will seat you right away. Full bar as well, easy street parking space that will not be a provlem.Higher end restaurant in Margretville.

The vegan option, the chili, was delicious!! Our server also informed us of how the soup of the day could be made vegan too, a cream of asparagus, and it was amazing. The hot cider was perfect, especially on such a cold day!

Excellent food and drinks. Wait staff very courteous and pleasant. Accomidating and attentive also. Nicole was great.
